Johnson creates unique, one-of-a kind mosaic, blown glass and tile works. Inspired by the dynamic qualities of glass, dimension and light, each piece is a kaleidoscope of mixed glass and ceramic media. As a retired law professor who rediscovered a passion for glass-on-glass work, Johnson developed a unique technique of creating 2-sided mosaics without heat or grout, for a 3D perspective. ...

Johnson’s work was recently selected for The New Masters: Women Artists of Northeast Ohio, sponsored by The Florence O’Donnell Wasmer Gallery at Ursuline College. She has trained in glass blowing with Master Giancarlo Sienoretto in Murano, Italy. Johnson resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio where she has a studio and gallery.
